The Swiss Commander watch pays homage to one of Mido's most iconic models. Its neo-vintage design incorporates most of the design elements responsible for the Commander's success: exceptionally clean lines, ample space for the superb sunray satin dial, and a Milanese mesh bracelet. It is equipped with the Calibre 80 Chronometer Silicon, a COSC-certified automatic chronometer movement with a silicon balance spring for superior precision and up to 80 hours of power reserve.

COSC CHRONOMETER
Chronometer certification guarantees the high precision of a watch or movement.

The tests performed by the COSC include verification of the number engraved on the watch movement and checks in a test environment. Each movement is individually tested following a strict procedure that lasts several days in five different positions and temperatures (8°C, 23°C, and 38°C). For 15 days, the movements undergo daily checks. Every day, including Saturdays and Sundays, the instruments are measured and wound. If it meets the standards, the movement receives chronometer certification.
